As a condition of granting permission for the use of their premises for the hash on 11 May, Cable and Wireless, Jamaica have indicated that under no circumstances whatsoever will they entertain any claim against them from any person who participates in the hash on that date at their premises in Prospect Pen, near Pomfret, St Thomas for death, personal injury, accident
or loss of or damage to personal belongings whilst on their premises for the duration of the event.

Participation in the event will be purely at your own personal risk. You will be reminded of this when attempting entry.

The disused Cable and Wireless earth station premises are currently up for sale.  There are a number of abandoned boarded up buildings on site.
Entry to all buildings on the premises are out of bounds. 

No toilets/bathrooms are available.  Nature does however provide an alternative with plenty of surrounding thick vegetation. Bring some toilet tissue as a precaution.

If any hasher is unwilling to accept the above Cable and Wireless, Jamaica liability disclaimer and/or the lack of bathroom facilities on the premises they should not attend.

Directions:

Plan 1 hour ride from New Kingston

From Kingston drive eastwards out of the city along the St Thomas coast road through Harbour View, Copacabana, Buff Bay, Eleven Miles, Grants Pen, Yallahs to the communityof Pomfret.  As you pass through Pomfret on the left hand side set back from the road you will see a massive satellite dish installed on the hillside.  As you get close to the installation
please follow the JAH3 signs from the road through a gate onto the premises and then up a grassy/dirt track to the main  security gate where you should check in. After entry please drive on up the roadway to the main car park.

ENTRY to premises

I have given to Cable and Wireless a list of our most recent/regular 120 hashers based upon the accuracy of last months records.  Your names are likely to be on their list.  If you are not or you are bringing guests to the hash then  please pass your/their names to the security guard and you will be allowed in. Some form of identity may also be handy to ease entry

This is a very scenic location with good views out to sea and towards Yallahs Salt pond. This is quite an exposed sunny location but with part of the run through shiggy (jungle to Jamaicans) so bring sun cream and insect repellant. Foldaway chairs are also a good option.
